South east corner of 11th and Market Streets in 1836 previous to its being the terminus and station in Philadelphia of the Philadelphia Wilmington and Baltimore Rail Road Co. It was also used as the Deaf and Dumb Asylum from 1823 until 1825, WHEN IT MOVED TO Broad and Pine St. Altered in 1848 and again in 1890.
