The "perott" and "swanson" Mansions were situate on the hill on the north side of Coats Street (now Fairmount Avenue) Swanson being on the N.W corner of 24th St. 25th Street when opened will cut through between the houses opposite the Swanson many years ago on Coats St stood the Ch9inese Pagoda, during 1867 and 8 the Perott Mansion was rented and used as a Lager beer and dancing place, dancing floor under the large Willow tree.
