South West end of Fairmount Park adjoining the Wire Suspension bridge December 17 1870, previous to any alteration being made by the Park Commissioners. Sketch made from the foutain on the east side on the left is the abutment of the bridge, moans boat stores and stables, Sharp and Hankies Rifle factory. The critterden Tavern, Lafferts Tavern in the hill Mr. Schools dwelling, Iron bridge of Pennsylvania R.Road ever it is the log drove yard and tavern of Harrey Glass on the extreme right is Jerry Kings Taern.
