The Old Millefelt Mansion, on Long Lane below 25th Street built of logs in 1770 rebuilt by Geo. Baker son in law of F. Millefelt. During the British occupation the royal soldiers sacked the house in search of the silver plate and Mrs. Millefelt refusing to tell where it was concealed, they beat her and left as they supposed dead, she recovered lived until 1810
