Image: 1/16 plate; Woman seated with bare shoulders, short sleeves. Preserver: Straight and embossed with simple pattern (after 1850). Mat: Oval with matte finish (1850). Case: Leather-covered wood-frame with pebbled finish (no embossing) with gilded lines in interior, with red velvet pinchpad, burgundy velvet cushion (not embossed) (late 1840s - early 50s).
