Image: 1/6 plate; Standing boy resting against posing chair, wearing long sleeved roundabout with shiny buttons, white cuffs and turned-down collar. Preserver: [none] Mat: Double elliptical, with sandy finish (mid 1840-50). Case: Leather-covered wood-frame embossed with geometric design on both sides, with red velvet pinchpad, and red velvet cushion embossed with a relatively uncommon patriotic design (1850).
