Image: 1/6 plate; Girl, with chin-length hair pulled back behind the ears, standing beside a cloth-covered posing table, wearing a shoulder-baring patterned dress with a low waistline, and pleated skirt, with color applied to her cheeks. Preserver: [none]. Mat: [none]. Case: Paper-covered wood-frame embossed with a floral design on the front and a geometric design on the back, with a red velvet pinchpad, and a plain (no embossed design) eggplant colored cushion (1850s-1860s).
