Image: Oval 1/6 plate; Head and shoulders of a man in military uniform (3 buttons and shoulder patches visible) with hair parted on one side, and a beard and mustache. Preserver: Straight, narrow, embossed with simple pattern (after 1850). Mat: [none]. Case: Plain Red-velvet covered oval case (Berg No. 6-16a) with push-button fastener, with white silk cushion. Attached item: One brass button with patriotic/military insignia embossed on the front.
