Image: Head and shoulders of a woman with hair parted on one side and smoothed over the head, pinned above the ears and worn in tight curls over her ears, wearing a black dress buttoned in the front, with a whitework collar, a gold, black and white brooch at her throat, with black ribbons tied in her hair. Preserver: Straight and embossed with simple pattern (after 1850). Mat: [none]. Case: Plain Red-velvet covered oval half case with push-button fastener.
