Image: 1/6 plate; Seated girl, with arm resting on cloth-covered posing table, hair parted in the center and smoothed over the head behind the ears, adorned with many ribbons, wearing a dark dress with long, loose sleeves cuffed at the wrists, and a wide whitework collar, two rings on her fingers, and color applied to her cheeks. Preserver: Straight and embossed with simple pattern (after 1850). Mat: Oval with matte finish and simple embossed design (1850). Case: [none].
