Image: 1/4 plate; Man with hair brushed back and partially covering the ears, with a beard, wearing a dark jacket and vest, white shirt, dark tie and turned down collar. Preserver: Straight but more ornate (1850s). Mat: Oval with matte finish and simple embossed design (1850). Case: [none].
