From original image caption: "John Wanamaker holds the famous Cross of Westminster, presented to the Abbey by Rodman Wanamaker. One of the Abbey's most treasured possessions, it goes at the head of all coronations, royal weddings, and affairs of state. It was on loan to Wanamaker's for Exposition Britannia. Prior to this, it had never been removed from the Abbey since its presentation in 1922."
