Axeline writes to her daughter-in-law, Gertrude, from Sweden. Gertrude's son (and Axeline's grandson), Robert (Bob) is currently staying with relatives in Sweden and Axeline gives her news of her son. She also discusses her recent trip to Stockholm and information about various family members. Although this collection contains mostly English correspondence between Axeline and Gertrude, it also has letters from Axeline to her son, Axel Sahlin, which are in Swedish.
