From original image caption: "Photo shows Julio Kilenyi, prominent sculptor, working on the bronze placque [plaque] to be presented to Harold Gatty and Wiley Post by the Aeronautical Chamber of Commerce in tribute to the memorable round the world flight just completed.  The presentation of the placque [plaque] will be made next Tuesday at a dinner to be given in honor of the fliers at the Hotel Astor.  Kilenyi has already designed awards presented to Col. Charles A. Lindbergh and Admiral R.E. Byrd."
