Small sketchbook of original pen and ink drawings of various Philadelphia scenes.  Includes sketches of the Jersey shore opposite Kensington, Upper Ferry on the Schuylkill, Robert Morris' seat on the Schuylkill, and Pennsylvania Hospital.
Inscription:
These sketches were made in Philadelphia by Mr. Jerry Paul, a miniature painter of that city. and [illegible] Richard Phillips who was their [there] a [illegible] also of the same place. The picture of the sitting man writing at the end of the book is [illegible] of Paul. This was given to [illegible] by his aunt Mary Phillips. (inside front cover of volume)
