Biography:

Salvatore Siciliano was born and raised in Gasperina, Italy. He married Maria Innocenza Procopio in Gasperina sometime around 1892. In 1900, he immigrated to the United States and worked for a few years as a street laborer to pay for his family’s voyage in 1905. His wife ran a boarding house in Philadelphia at 505 Catherine Street, while he continued to work as a street laborer. He and his family moved to Camden, New Jersey in 1921.
